70/20/10: A model approach for learning

We’re passionate advocates of the 70/20/10 framework, a proven development model which suggests that most learning (around 70%) is gained through experience, around 20% via social learning and just 10% from formal, ‘classroom’ learning.

Our two day courses incorporate all aspects of 70/20/10, and are delivered on non-consecutive days, allowing participants to take what they have learnt on day one and implement these approaches in the workplace. Day two provides the opportunity to reflect on these experiences, receive feedback and refine their skills.

This approach also reduces the impact of absence, with employees only away from the office for one day at a time, as well as saving the cost of an overnight stay.
