About our programmes

Our programmes are so much more than a tick-box exercise. We adopt a learner-centric approach and place a core focus on individuals and their unique development areas. Our programmes are aligned to apprenticeship standards, but we go beyond the standards to elicit sustainable behavioural change and life-defining change for our delegates.

From their initial induction day right through to the end of the qualification, our certified coaches support learners through a range of methods (including 121 coaching sessions) to really get to the core of each learner as an individual. But that’s not all. We know line managers also play a huge part in a learner’s journey. Our coaches facilitate conversations between learners and their managers to ensure that the programme is embedded in your business and development doesn’t simply ‘stop’ because the programme has finished.

This approach to development engages learners and managers, bridges the gap between learning and implementing change in your business, and helps delegates to become accountable for their future success .

Our training delivery

We aren’t a chalk and talk training provider. Our approach is interactive, hands-on, practical and fun! Through blended learning, we use classroom sessions to explore theory, and experiential activities and ‘learning in action’ to let delegates put the theory into practice.

This direct link between theory and practice means delegates can hone their newly developed skills in a safe environment, make a few mistakes along the way, and come back to your business ready to get it right. A key part of this is giving delegates time to reflect individually and as a group to understand how they performed and what they’d do differently next time.

Alongside hands-on interventions, our blended learning includes a range of approaches to help relate learning back to delegates’ roles and work environments. These include stretch assignments, business challenge projects, webinars, virtual learning, and much more.

We strongly believe that virtual training shouldn’t be boring! We have designed our virtual training to be just as impactful as face-to-face, but in shorter, sharper sessions. At its core, the outcomes of the virtual delivery remain the same. We include classroom sessions to learn theory, virtual activities designed to stretch delegates and implement what they’ve learnt, and time for reflection and peer feedback.

Programmes tailored to you

Development programmes shouldn’t take a one-size-fits-all approach – for learners or for their businesses. That’s why we make our programmes as flexible as possible.

Sometimes running your own development programmes simply isn’t an option. All of our programmes can be run as OPEN programmes to cater for those who only have a few delegates each year. This means they will be enrolled on a cohort with delegates from other businesses, so they still receive all the benefits of peer learning, and businesses can benefit from boosted employee performance for smaller numbers.

For those who have larger numbers, our programmes can also be run as Closed programmes. Colleagues benefit from shared experiences and peer-to-peer learning, businesses benefit from increased team engagement, and there’s the added benefit of our programme being tailored to your specific business.

As an approved Apprenticeship Provider, all of our programmes can be completed as an Apprenticeship when funded by your Apprenticeship Levy.
