Established in 1999, we’ve helped to start the careers for many thousands of graduates, with highly effective recruitment strategies and impactful development that aligns with their employers’ business and internal development programmes. Many of our graduate hires have gone on to be very senior business leaders and are at the forefront of industry today.

As an approved Apprenticeship provider, we work with organisations to offer multiple opportunities to obtain additional qualifications, and as an ILM Accredited centre and APS approved training organisation, you can be assured of high-quality development opportunities.

Our Recruitment Process

We know that it is particularly challenging for those just starting out this year, but employers are still recruiting and investing in their early career talent. Discovery are committed to supporting the 2020 graduates.

We recognise that feedback can play an instrumental part in helping to develop and guide you throughout your job search experience, therefore we provide in-depth feedback at every stage of our recruitment process.

CV submitted

Send us your CV so that we can begin to support you in finding your perfect role.

fact find

It’s not just about finding the best role, it’s about finding the best role for you. This stage helps us to find out a little bit more about you. It’s about bringing your CV to life, as well as gaining a clear understanding of your key requirements, such as the type of roles you’re interested in, and salary expectations.

telephone interview

At this stage, we will talk more specifically about the role and company you’re applying for. You’ll also be asked to answer some competency-based questions.

video interview

This is an additional round of competency-based questions. However, by conducting this stage by video, it enables us to assess and provide feedback on how you present yourself in a virtual, face-to-face environment.

If you’ve made it this far, great work! This is the final stage of our recruitment process – you will now be assessed by the employer. This final stage usually consists of a pre-recorded presentation, two individual tasks and a video interview with the employer. However, this can sometimes change at the discretion of the employer company.

Congratulations! If you successfully pass all the previous stages, you will receive an official job offer from the employer.

Our Development Programmes

Graduate programmes are run by employers to develop their future leaders. They offer you development in your chosen profession, while taking on real responsibilities and operations for your employer. These typically last for two years.

Within certain organisations, there will be an opportunity to undergo an apprenticeship, lasting between 12-14 months, these can be within customer service, leadership and management, or sales. Once successfully completed, you will obtain an official qualification
